Also, instead of getting rid of jump drives, why not introduce spool up and spool down timers for capitol and supercapitol ships. When jumping to a cyno the jumpdrive has a spoolup timer that needs to be activated before it can jump which prevents...

This definitely needs to be done. And to have more of a sense of scale why not have people working on or around a ship in the station hangar. Thus you can see just how big a ship is.

but it was stated above that the minnie jammer would affect missiles... if the other races jammers dont affect weapons then why should the minnie jammer. If u want an effect on missile users create a new module that isnt a jammer...

How bout they make the bastion module so it cycles indefinitely until deactivated, at which point it has a ten minute cooldown. They would become mobile guard posts. Imagine a mining op in lowsec with a couple of these. Or setting up a ninja pos.
